Tsunamis are formed by earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides and impacts that happen under water. They are very deadly. The sudden movements deep under water on the floor causes waves to merge into one and causes a tsunami.
How Tectonic Plates Cause a Tsunami
Tectonic plates get forced under another on the sea bed and therefore cause a Tsunami and also strains the upper plate. There are three types of tectonic plate moves they move conservative divergent and convergent. Divergent is pull apart convergent is push together and conservative is one tectonic pate gets subducted under one another.
Effects on people and land
Tsunamis can kill, injured, ruin buildings, destroy, devastate people, and be unexpected on the beach. It can also make you drown on land and you can die . Tsunamis can damage the land by washing away nature like trees that help us to survive, and damage lots of proprieties.
